Let Your Imaginations Soar!
June 6-10 and/or June 13-17 – All camps are 9:00am – 12pm
Come join the summer fun! St. Mary’s Preschool offers two weeks of summer camp for children ages 3-6. Our enrichment activities include music, movement, art, science, math, language arts, and more! We have many opportunities for new and exciting experiences both indoors and out.
Camp is held from 9 a.m. to Noon with no early morning or extended day options. Your child must be 3 by June 1 to attend camp. Potty-trained is preferred. Camp is staffed with current teachers, local high schools, and college students.
3’s and 4’s (must be potty-trained)
Two different and fun-filled weeks are planned where the children will sing, move and create beautiful art with nature as their inspiration. Children may create musical instruments after going on a listening walk, fill their treasure boxes with nature’s gems or imitate the ways animals move while going on a hike.
Completed Prekindergarten and Junior Kindergarten
Two different and fun-filled weeks are planned for our oldest students. Using a project-based approach with opportunities in science, technology, engineering, art and math, we will discover, create and problem solve! We will use as our provocations classic literature and nursery rhymes. We might discover a way to put Humpty Dumpty back together again, or explore and create ways to keep the 5 Little Monkeys from falling off of the bed.
Rising First, Second, Third Graders
Two different and fun-filled weeks are planned for our Rising First, Second and Third. Using a project-based approach with opportunities in science, technology, engineering, art and math, we will discover, create and problem solve! We will use as our provocations classic literature. We may create an escape route for Rapunzel to leave the tower, or create a faster way for Jack to get to the top of the beanstalk. Children will recreate the stories through dramatic play and even write a new ending.
