Open Time Means More Experiences, More Friends
November 17, 2016
Each morning when they come in, the children in Mrs. Jones’ Three/Four-Day class and Mrs. Fogg’s Three-Day class participate in Open Time.
“The doors are opened between the two classrooms, and the children are afforded more opportunities to interact with children in another class and experience different activities,” Jones said.
Mrs. Fogg’s room typically has a variety of process art experiences, and Mrs. Jones’ class has elaborate dramatic play scenes for oral language development.
“Right now, there is a doctor’s office set up, and the children love taking care of babies, their classmates and even the teachers,” Jones said.
